Whole-building sales
Sell your London freehold block with the right strategy
A freehold block can be sold in one lot to an investor, or broken up and sold flat by flat. Each route has a different price, timeline and set of legal questions. We set out both with evidence, prepare the information investors need and run the sale.

- Income and lease data prepared

FAQ
Whole-building sales: your questions answered
Can’t find what you’re looking for?Talk to our team.
Is it better to sell the block whole or flat by flat?
It depends on the building, the tenancies and your timeline. Breaking up may achieve more in total but takes longer and costs more. We compare both for your building.
Do leaseholders have rights when a freehold is sold?
In some cases leaseholders have legal rights when a freehold is sold. Your solicitor must advise on this before marketing, and we build it into the timetable.
Can you sell a block with tenants in place?
Yes. Investors often want income. We present the rent roll and tenancy information clearly.
What information will buyers need?
Title, leases, tenancy agreements, rent roll, compliance records and plans. We help you organise them in a data room.
Can you sell the building off-market?
Yes. A discreet approach to selected investors is often suitable for whole buildings.
Do you give tax advice on the sale?
No. Please speak to your tax adviser about the effect of each route.
How do you charge?
Fees are disclosed in writing before you instruct us.
