Dubai finance introductions

Finance for a Dubai purchase when you live abroad

Some UAE lenders consider non-resident buyers, with their own criteria and documents. We do not give mortgage advice ourselves. We introduce you to finance specialists who work with overseas buyers and keep the lender, developer or seller and the transfer timetable in step.

  • Introductions to finance specialists
  • Purchase and finance timetable aligned
  • No mortgage advice given by Belgrave

Outcomes

How the introduction works

  • A specialist for your profile

We introduce a finance specialist who works with your country of residence and income type.

  • Finance before you commit

Knowing what may be available early keeps your search realistic and your offer credible.

  • Ready or off-plan

Financing works differently for ready homes and off-plan payment plans. We make sure the route fits the property.

  • Clear about our role

The lender or finance specialist advises on and arranges the loan. We help you buy the right property.

FAQ

Dubai finance introductions: your questions answered

Can’t find what you’re looking for?Talk to our team.

  • Can non-residents get a mortgage in Dubai?

Some UAE banks and lenders do lend to non-residents, usually with stricter criteria and more documents than for residents. A finance specialist can tell you which may consider your case.

  • Do you give mortgage advice?

No. Belgrave does not give mortgage advice. We introduce you to finance specialists, and any advice or offer comes from them or the lender.

  • How much deposit will I need?

It depends on the lender, your residency, the property and its price. We do not quote figures; the specialist will set out what applies to you.

  • Can I finance an off-plan purchase?

Off-plan purchases are often paid through the developer’s payment plan, and lender options before handover can be limited. We explain the choices for the specific project.

  • What costs apply on top of the price?

The Dubai Land Department transfer fee of 4% of the price is the main one, plus registration and agency fees, and mortgage registration if you borrow. Our Dubai buying costs calculator shows the total.

  • Is there a cost for the introduction?

Our property finance desk is typically paid by the lender, with an optional client fee only on bespoke or smaller mandates by arrangement. The specialist will disclose any fees of their own.

  • Can I buy with cash instead?

Yes. Cash purchases still require evidence of the source of funds, and we explain what will be asked for at the start.
