Buy property in Dubai from India, managed end to end

Buying across borders means two sets of rules. We handle the Dubai side: the right community, developer and title checks, every UAE cost and the transfer. The India side, including how you send funds and any tax reporting, is for your own bank and advisers, and we work alongside them.

  • Remote viewings and purchase
  • All UAE costs set out
  • Works alongside your own advisers

FAQ

Buyers based in India: your questions answered

Can’t find what you’re looking for?Talk to our team.

  • Can Indian residents buy property in Dubai?

Dubai allows foreign nationals to buy in freehold areas. Rules in India on sending money abroad and investing overseas also apply, so please confirm your position with your bank and a qualified adviser in India.

  • How do I transfer money for the purchase?

Through your bank, in line with Indian rules. We cannot advise on Indian regulations; we confirm the UAE payment steps and timings so your bank can plan.

  • Do I need to travel to Dubai?

Not necessarily. Viewings can be by video and a representative can usually sign under a power of attorney. Your lawyer can advise.

  • What are the UAE buying costs?

The DLD transfer fee of 4% of the price is the main one, plus registration and agency fees. See our Dubai buying costs page.

  • Will I pay tax on rental income?

That depends on your residence and the tax rules in India as well as the UAE. Please take advice from a qualified tax adviser.

  • Can you manage the property after I buy?

Yes. Our lettings desk can let and manage it for overseas owners.

  • How do you charge?

Our fee structure is agreed in writing before the mandate starts.
