Off-plan resales

Buy an off-plan resale in Dubai with the risks checked

An off-plan resale lets you buy into a project that is already underway, often closer to handover than a new launch. It also adds questions: what has been paid, what is still due, what the developer allows and whether the seller’s premium is justified. We answer them before you commit.

  • Payment history verified
  • Developer resale rules checked
  • Premium tested against evidence

FAQ

Off-plan resales: your questions answered

Can’t find what you’re looking for?Talk to our team.

  • What is an off-plan resale?

It is buying a unit that has not yet been completed from its original buyer, taking over their position with the developer.

  • Why would I pay a premium over the launch price?

Sometimes the market has moved or the project is further along. Sometimes the premium is not justified. We compare it with evidence so you can decide.

  • Who pays the remaining instalments?

Normally you take over the remaining payment plan after the transfer. We confirm exactly what is outstanding before terms are agreed.

  • Can the developer refuse a resale?

Developers set their own conditions for resale before handover, often linked to how much has been paid. We check these first.

  • What fees apply?

There are developer and registration fees on the transfer, and DLD fees apply. We set out all costs in writing before you commit.

  • Is the handover date guaranteed?

No. Construction timelines can move. We tell you what the developer has published and how its past projects have tracked, without making promises.

  • Do you act for the seller too?

On a buyer mandate we act for you. Any conflict of interest is disclosed in writing.
